Having a goal in your mind, working as hard as you can to achieve this goal, overcoming fears and frustrations while your team mates encourage you from below - that's the challenge climbing offers you!

Conquering the climb, reaching the top of the climbing wall or rock face provides a sense of achievement, increasing self esteem and self confidence, whilst also helping to develop team working skills.

We offer outdoor rock climbing...

...and we also offer an indoor alternative!

Abseiling

As with climbing, abseiling offers you the chance to do something totally different and new, the opportunity to overcome your fears and frustrations to achieve a personal goal.

Walking

Indulge yourself in a relaxingly paced walk around some of the North East's most beautiful countryside, taking in the wonderful scenery our region has to offer. If you want to step the challenge up a level, your walk can be more intensive, including rougher terrain, rocks and boulders and up hill treks.

Time spent in such peaceful surroundings can allow young people the opportunity to reflect on themselves and give them space to think.

Gorge Walking, Ghyll Scrambling and Waterfall Jumping

Working as part of a team on a specific task, fulfilling your own role to the best of your ability to ensure that the final outcome is the best it can be for the group as a whole, is what team building is all about!

Mobex North East has a substantial catalogue of team building and problem solving challenges, which have been designed to meet the specific needs of individual groups. Our exercises are seen as a non-threatening way to help groups build up relationships of trust and to help develop leadership and team work skills.

And enjoying a group raft trip to celebrate success!
