Team Building - Team Building

All of the activities Mobex North East deliver offer elements of teambuilding. Yes, when someone climbs to the top of the climbing wall, it is an individual achievement. Yes, when someone plunges into the waterfall, it is an individual who has chosen to jump.

However, as all of Mobex North East's activities are carried out by groups of people sharing and facing the same fears, communicating with each other and working together to ensure that an activity is safely and successfully completed and enjoyed by everyone, individual achievements are often the result of the support, encouragement and bonds of trust developed between the members of the group you are part of.

We can offer you and your group a programme of teambuilding activities which has been designed to help improve your groups communication and listening skills and to help increase your group's self-esteem, motivation and patience. Our teambuilding activities also pay particular attention to the development of trust and teach clients how to work together as a team.

Whatever the particular needs of your group, we can offer problem solving challenges, overnight walking expeditions, team contests and tasks which involve full team participation in order to achieve a defined goal in order for your group to reach its aims and objectives.

If you think you and your group could benefit from a Mobex North East team building session, then please give us a call on 0191 2302830 and we will discuss your requirements with you and design a programme of activities around your exact needs.

RAFTBUILDING WITH KINGS SCHOOL AT THE PRIORS HAVEN IN TYNEMOUTH

Mobex North East worked with sixth form students from Kings School, Tynemouth, on a fantastic fun filled raftbuilding session at the Priors Haven.

Raftbuilding was only one of the many activities on offer during a day long team building/problem solving event organised by Kings School. Students also had the opportunity to try film making, puzzles, team building exercises, journalism and cookery.

Groups were divided into two teams and competed against each other in rowing races and other water based games using rafts made from two open canoes!

One of the teams gets prepared for the water games that await them!

Two teams battle it out - who will reach the finish line first?

Phil B in the safety canoe looks on as the race hots up!

Phil C's team aren't giving up easily and paddle together to pick up speed.

With all that splashing about, someone had to empty the water from the canoes!

Although many of the participants had not tried canoeing and raftbuilding before, all of the teams worked extremely hard, pulling together, communicating effectively, listening to instructions and giving 100% effort. Not even the cold North Sea could deter the students from their goal - being crowned the winning team!

A huge thank you to Kings School for their hospitality and for organising what was a very successful and enjoyable teambuilding day.

If you think this kind of activity day would benefit your group, please give us a call on 0191 2302830 to discuss how Mobex North East can help you and your organisation.
