Freelance Outdoor Development Workers

Based: Mobex North East, Shieldfield, Newcastle upon Tyne

Mobex North East is an established charity set up to provide learning opportunities for groups of young or disadvantaged people across the region with the mission statement “to enable individuals to fulfil their own potential through development training using Outdoor, Arts and Environmental activities.”

Mobex are currently seeking to recruit a team of experienced and qualified Freelance Outdoor Development Workers to deliver a broad range of personal and social development programmes to a variety of youth and community groups across the North East.

This is a varied and challenging post that offers opportunity for creativity, new experiences and ongoing personal development.

You must have a full driving licence and a minimum of two NGB awards plus a valid First Aid qualification.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS -

August 2008 - Please note: Although we are keen to hear from people who may wish to volunteer with us the amount of work we have at the moment prevents us from offering a strong support package to new volunteers. Therefore we are currently putting volunteer inductions for those people who wish to take part in activity days on hold until early 2009.

We do however require people who would like to volunteer to keep our stores up to date and generally make sure that our building is clean and clear of obstacles.
